RFA AMHERST 1951-1963
Armament Stores Carrier. 1952.
Replacement for NAV Bedenham, destroyed by explosion in Gibraltar in 1951. Renamed to avoid confusion with other Forts. Regular Gibraltar/Malta run with armaments and 12 passengers. Sold for scrap 1963.
