As British Star.  Built Swan Hunter 1918. Managed by BTC for Admiralty 1922 - 1936. Present at the Battle of the River Plate and allegedly received a signal -" If the Graf Spee comes your way, let her through!" Escort oiler 1941 , Eastern Fleet 1942 - 1945. Sold to Italy. Scrapped 1960.
